This seems like an obvious place to look, but some people forget to turn to the internet as a source of information for getting money for school. As a general rule, it is always better to do a very specific search for information on the internet. If you are looking for christian grants, then do a search for that specific term in the search engines. If you are looking for mom grants, then look for financial aid that is related to moms.
2. Search at your local library.
Librarians always seem to know how to find things. I guess it is because they are always looking for books at the library! When you go to the local library, ask the librarian for help in getting reference guides that will show you where you can get money to help pay for school.

In my experience, I have seen many opportunities uncovered simply by contacting the colleges you are interested in attending. Every college has wealthy donors that are interested in helping out new students pay for school. These offers are not heavily advertised, so you will have to call to inquire about them.
